# Graphing Lines by Graphing Two Points

## Instructions

For each problem, graph the line of the given equation. For problems 1 through 10, graph the line by plotting points at the given x values. For problems 11 to 20, graph the line by choosing two of your own x values. For printable graph paper, see the related links at the bottom of this page.

 S1 y = 3x; points where x = -1 and x = 1
y = 1; points where x = 0 and x = 3
y = x; points where x = 0, x = 2
y = x + 2; points where x = -4 and x = 0
y = (1 / 3)x + (5/3); points where x = -2 and x = 4
y = -3 - x; points where x = -2 and x = -1
y = -3; points where x = -3, x = 4
y = -2x + 4; points where x = 2 and x = 3
y = 0.5x; points where x = -2 and x = 2
y = x - 4; points where x = 0 and x = 4
y = -0.5x - 2; points where x = -2 and y = 2
y = 0.5x - 1
y = -0.5x + 1
y = 5x
y = 0.25x
y = -x - 7
y = -2x + 8
y = 1.5x - 3
y = -2
y = -x - 2
y = -x + 4
