...I remind them of basic skills, like getting the work into the backpack and getting it to the teacher on time. I teach the children how to skim for important ideas, how to use memory tricks, how to gear their work to the particular teacher's likes and dislikes. I also show them how to organize their work into reasonable time segments so as not to loose focus.
