...Through middle school I participated in Solo and Ensemble competitions where I received 'superior' and 'excellent' ratings. I also learned to play Bass Clarinet in 7th grade and stayed with it since. Both Clarinet and Bass Clarinet have the same fingerings where Bass Clarinet is more challenging to play.
