...I assigned students homework from workbooks. I began swimming competitively with a club team from the age of 9 and swam competitively all through high school. I was in varsity swim all four years of high school and was co-team captain my junior and senior years.

...I was a teaching assistant in an introductory engineering class. I have also done a course in cadet teaching in which I taught math to 5th graders. I believe there is more than one way to explain math concepts so that if a student doesn't grasp the way it is presented in class, I can find an alternate way of explaining it.
