...I feel EVERYONE is capable of being educated. I am proud to be an educator in science and mathematics, but I harbor few illusions that the basic tenets and arcane ideologies of math and science might be retained by most students. I wish to educate through "power of example" -- using math and science concepts as a "road map" to practical problem solving skills.
