Biotechnology MinorI frequently tutor subjects that show up on the MCAT, such as organic chemistry, **physics**, general chemistry and biology. I've taken the MCAT and also the DAT (Dental Admissions Test) which I've scored quite high on.

I have an MA in math from State University of New York and an MS in computers from Case Institute of Technology. Besides 25 years of software experience, I have taught part-time in the math and computer science department at San Jose State University. I love to see my students understand the princ...

I have been helping people out with math and science problems since I was young and have always enjoyed it. When I was in high school a math teacher asked me if I was interested in helping some of his students with algebra problems and I gladly agreed. Since then I have helped students work through complex or frustrating math or **physics** types of problems.

...I spent more time coaching students who have difficulties in optical **physics** and algebra all required for some projects. These difficulties were resolved by breaking down equations, relating these equations to real-time hands-on projects. A natural algorithm or a step by step process were implemented where natural logic was easily understood.

...I generally know computers inside and out but can make understanding them simple. I have taught geometry at several high schools and enjoy this part of the curriculum especially. This is because my graduate work was in mathematical logic (which fascinates me). Geometry is the first high school experience a student has with logic as an explicit part of mathematics.
