I am a certified K-8 teacher with a specialization in math. I have taught kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade in the past and am currently teaching pre algebra/algebra at the 7-8th grade level. My love for teaching stems from seeing students have that "light bulb moment" when they comprehend something that they might have been struggling with previously.

...Confidence building is something I also tend to focus on while teaching math concepts. Once a student feels confident in their ability to do math, they tend to focus more in class and work harder to figure out difficult problems. If you are a student who needs extra help or a parent with a child who is struggling, please contact me and I will be happy to assist you in any way I can.
